Hello, I'm new to this great forum.
My query is this: is there a way to permanently color noble metals - gold or platinum - a bright red or navy blue colors? Something similar in finish, texture and durability to the colors of anodized aluminum. Is there a way to deposit aluminum on gold to have it anodized later? PVD is not an option as the gold will have precious stones set in it - hence heating above approx. 200 degrees Celsius is not allowed. Any information or advice will be very appreciated.
