Do you mean one line only, or one line at a time? Block Skip will have no bearing on how the programs runs unless there is a Block Skip character contained in the program. In that case the control will skip the block containing the Block Skip character only if Block Skip is turned on.

    1. Running one block at a time.
If the program is running one block at a time, and the Cycle Start needs to be presses between blocks, the obvious question to ask is "is the machine in single block mode"? Many OEMs provide for the control to initiate Single Block mode if the lube system requires filling, either by a level switch or a pressure switch. These systems are normally wired to "Fail Safe", that is, if the signal wire is disconnected, or broken, then same control condition will exist as when low in lubricant. Those fitted with a pressure switch can cause the machine to run in single block if the oil level falls to a point where oil pressure falls, or when there is a fault in the switch, or the circuit for the switch signal.

    2. If one block only.
If the machine will only read one block, and will advance no more in the program, it could be that no finish signal is being generated. In MDI mode, are you able to successfully run a number of successive blocks from your program?

    Regards,

    Bill
