    Encoder to drive and DRO?

Hello, all. I have been using mach for about 3 years now, driving a 3 axis servo system (homebuilt).
I understand that there are inputs for a DRO within mach. Are these plugged in using the parallel port, or can I use another input?

I currently use my parallel port to control my Gecko Drives, and I would like to send the encoder signals from my servos to both the Drive and back to the computer, for diagnostic stuff I want to do.

You'll have to use a second parallel port for the inputs but here is a circuit to allow feedback to the pc and to the servo drivers. I don't have a board layout but this circuit is pretty simple.
