    Cam Tech Microstepper Controller repair

Anyone know a US or even Houston based electronics board repair company that works with Canadian Camtech electronics? Cam Tech no longer will repair our boards after a knowledgeable employee left their company. I have old CMC1 controller cards that die all too often.

I recently purchased a used routermaster and have four driver cards available from the CMC 3 that came with it. I have not used them so I can't verify how well they work; however, I was told that the router worked perfectly the last time it was used and I do not see any visible signs of damage. I can send detailed photos of all the cards if anyone is interested. I also have the backplane board out of that same unit that I would be willing to throw in for free if anyone is interested in buying all four cards.

Camtech router repair - yes it can be done!

Thanks to this forum we have just completed at ERD our full range repair strategy and can cover in less than a week ALL old router repairs.

We are offering single axis repair but highly recommend full rebuild to the whole control since the connectors on the backplane are a major problem in the system!

We now stock ALL parts necessary for this process and have enjoyed fully developing the whole Camtech line!

So if you have a problem on this system or ANY machine tool send me an email!

I answer this email so with 20 years as an Engineer involved in electronic service rest assured I can give you some level of guidance.
