    which format should I pick

    Hi people.

Maybe my question is too silly , but still I need an answer.
I am in process of drawing models in ArtCam for mach3, so I made a toolpath and need to save it .Question is:
which format should I pick from the list (Machine output file is formatted for)
There are lots of format types there including :mach2 mm cnc (not mach3)
will it be OK for mach3?or should I choose another format?

    thanks;

What version of Artcam are you using?
The current post processors for Mach is Mach3gb_inch_ arc or Mach3gb_mm_arc" with both including an ATC versions
these were updated to Mach3 in 2006 and have been adjusted as needed over the years.
If you don't have these postp's in the list contact your reseller for them

My soft is too old, It's artcam pro 8.1
but it is full. my friend used to work with cnc router earlier
so he gave me the software as I now intend to get familiar with all that cnc staff.( I already have mini cnc)
so could you please explain, is there any other way to get the postprocessor Mach3gb mm arc?

    Thanks

The program while installing asked for permission to install "sentinel protection installer" but I
    choose no.

So you have no sentinel security dongle? You are running an illegal copy of the program
Sorry cannot help you unless you purchase a legit copy of ArtCam, the current version is 2011.

no I don't think it's illegal. as I said my friend gave me the CD with artcam
    it looks pretty legal.

For it to be legal you must have the usb security dongle and associated paf file
otherwise you have an illegal crack copy, which I would suggest you loose!
Every legal seat of ArtCam has a registered owner via the # on the security dongle.
