    Slotting in VM 6.0 NOT

    Well I've managed to get most 2.5 d functions working well.
    However I can't get a simple slot operation to work IF the slot width is the same as the cutter diameter.
    For example if I spec a .250 cutter diameter and a .251 pocket it will function. Unfortunately this results in double the number of passes.
    Any suggestions?

    John - I use the engraving Mops for that scenario.
    I do the same thing for a single pass with a facemill/flycutter
    Draw a single line (region) down the center
    Just have to tweak the in/out to suit your fancy
    Super fast
