Lifting a SCM machining centre with a forklift

I am looking at a SCM record 1 matrix table router. I need to load onto a lorry but the machine at 3 tons is too big for the guys crane lift.

The only option I have is too froklift the machine onto the lorry, by lifting the machine from underneath with the forklift tines.

The question that is on my mind is, do I walk away from making a deal because I can't lift the machine with a crane or do I risk lifting with a forklift? What are the potential mistakes when using a forklift?

Even in Scotland there should be heavy equipment riggers and movers. If you do not think you are qualified, don't do it. If you can't afford someone who is qualified, don't do it.

If it is worth the effort, is it possible to break it down somewhat and reassemble on delivery?
If you could remove the gantry and maybe the Electrical enclosure if it uses uses disconnect plugs it might be a solution?
