Hi Guys,

I'm new to this site, I'm hoping there is someone here who can help me. I recently brought a CNC conversion kit off ebay > 3Nm CNC Stepper driver Kit - 3 Axis for CNC. | eBay
I've wired it following this diagram http://www.cnczone.com/forums/attach...3&d=1334046350

The problem I'm having is when I try to jog the motor in Mach3 using the up, down, left, right and page up, page down keys. the motors will only move in one direction (the + direction). when I press the key on the keyboard to move the motor in the - (minus) direction the green LED on the driver goes out, and the motors will not turn.

Has anyone ever seen this issue before or know how to rectify the problem?

No not properly, I've been scratching my head the last few days trying to figure it out.
I can get the motor to turn in reverse by placing a jumper connector on J2 on the drivers, but it will still only jog the one way.

Has anyone ever seen this issue before or know how to rectify the problem?

Saw this recently on another forum:

Problem turned out to be bad breakout board...seems to be a lot of that going around.

Thank you for the fast responses guys. I'll order a new breakout board and see if I have any success with that. I'll update in a few days to say if it worked or not.
