    I need a flat piece of aluminum bar

    Greetings,
    I am in the process of building a CNC router and one of the pieces I need is a flat piece of 3/8 in aluminum 3in X 7 1/2in. I bought a piece of some 6061 bar
    Order Aluminum 6061 Rectangle in Small Quantities at OnlineMetals.com

    Unfortunately it is slightly cupped. About 7 1/2 thou. Is there another type of aluminum that would be flat?

    Mic6, or cast tooling plate is dead flat. If you watch Ebay, you can probably find a small piece. I've bought a few that were about 5"x15", for about $15.
