I am looking at the lynx 220 series as well. I am looking at the gang tool option and the turret option for high volume turning. I am leaning towards the gang tool. Am I giving up any rigidity in the machine by going with a gang tool option? Is the turret more rigid, or does it not matter? I need to drill a fairly deep hole in my part, not anything with a tight tolerance, just 10 times diameter. My interest in the gang tool is faster cycle time and less things that can go wrong in the future. We have never run any gang tool lathes, always conventional with turrets. We have had Miyano, Hwacheon, Haas, and Mori. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Gang Tool is recommended if you have only 2 ~3 Tools.

Or Else Turret Type will do the better job.

Doosan Machine you can index the turret any where as you like. It does not ask you for reference position for Tool Change. So we change time there.

Also This has Dia 32 Tool Holding Capacity. A2 #5 Spindle Nose 6" Chuck. Where as you have flexibility in Turret type there are 3 (A,B,C)variants with higher torque.

B and C Variants are powerful than Gang Type Model.

Also Maximum Turning Diameter will be a Question mark?
