    NEED HELP FOR RTA PAVIA SDC 05 DRIVES TIMING

    Can anybody help me where to get step time, step space, direction hold & direction setup for RTA PAVIA SDC 05 motor drives? help me plzzzz

    Thanks mkc2,
    in the post, you said that you use sherline 1/2 pulse mode setting. so,

    step time = 1000 ns
    step space = 6000 ns
    direction hold = 24000 ns
    direction setup = 24000 ns

    Sorry but I dont understand these timing settings, I dont see these any where on my setup.
    I dont use the same drives as you ,but they would be similar to your setup.
    My drives are the GMD-02 RTA.

    do you use emc2 or mach3?

    i'm not very familiar with mach3..

    You can download mach3 and have a look at the settings, it will give you the full version but only allow 500 Gcode lines untill you buy the licence key.

    ok i will try mach 3...
    can u share to me mach3 settings for your GMD-02 RTA drives?
    i need some guide to refer bcoz i'm not familiar with this sofware...:cheers:
