    Machine Recommendations

    Hello,
I am a new member interested in bench top CNC machining. My goal is to produce and market small parts of my own design, mostly fabricated out of aluminum. The parts require several milling actions along with boring and threading lathe work.
I currently make the parts on my vintage 6” Atlas lathe but the repeatability of CNC is intriguing.

Because I am new to the CNC aspect, I would like equipment with good customer support. While the Shearline and Taig equipment is big enough for my needs I’m looking for something a bit more robust. That said I don’t have a fortune to spend (Tormach, MicroKentics type budget).

I’m very interested to hear recommendations.

    Thank you and best regards,

If you need to do both CNC milling and lathe work in the size you describe, the machine in this link may be one to consider.
