    best router bits

    hi all,

    my new cnc machine arrived this week and i'm just setting it up. i will mainly be cutting MDF.

    can anyone recommend the best router bit to buy.

    what is the best i can buy? doesnt really matter about cost. i just want the best.

    any ideas?

    Circular saw blades, router bits, tools for router, diamond woodworking cutting tools - CMT

    For cutting MDF a mid range router bit would suffice and top quality is an overkill for just cutting MDF.

    CMT is the mid range. lol

    It really depends on your machine and the specific application. Onsrud's 48-700 series are carbide tipped straight bits made specifically for MDF. If you have a machine capable of high cutting speeds, a compression spiral is probably a better choice.
