We have a Studer S30 Lean-Pro CNC Universal Grinder with a Fanuc 16T control, unfortunately without any upload software. To add to the problem we don't have the parameter manual either. Using Hyperterm we have managed to determine the various com settings, baud rate, bits and stop bit etc. What we are unable to do is save any of the output from the machine. Can anyone help here? Is there some dnc software out there that would be suitable and compatible with this control? What we need is a relatively simple way to load and unload programs to and from this control. Hyperterm is only sniffing raw output from the port so we can see the output, however most dnc software requires a trigger to signal the start of a file transfer and very often the end too. Does anyone know these for the Fanuc 16T? Any help or general pointers would be greatly appreciated.
