I have a vector file in Corel and Illustrator that i need to get into Lasercut but when I import it it doesnt come out in lasercut the way I need it too.. I have tried exporting as a bitmap but the edges turn out horrible.



That is the image.. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Use it as a vector Phylo, it's much more accurate than a BMP file.

How do you want it to appear?

I cant seem to correctly import it into lasercut as an ai or cdr file. I would like it to appear as it does in the image.. The black area's engraved. I exported as a JPG and then imported to lasercut and that is kind of working.. A lot better than as a .bmp file anyways...

Im also unsure of how to resize an object in Lasercut?? I know it can be done as I have seen it done before but for the life of me I cant figure out how!

resize = top menu draw/size then change the sizes or ctrl + G

Save it as a DXF from Corel (autocad 2000 format)

Thanks Dave, Ill give that a try as soon as I figure out the wonderfull new problem I am having :-(
