    3020 Spindle Motor not working

Hi has anyone had any problems with a Chinese 3020 Engraver the spindle motor stopped after day 2 and they have replaced the motor but not fixed thus must be in the board. I have suggested to them that they need to replace it but to date nil response. All X and Y work no problems but the spindle link from board to plug is OK and tests clean.

    Any suggestions?

Inside the control box enclosure - you likely blew the spindle fuse.
    I believe they're 5A fuses (220V rated)

I did this within my first few days of ownership. Overloaded the spindle and it blew.

Be prepared, you will possibly have fried the mosfet and in my case the ne555 timer chip went at the same time. Both are very cheap replacement parts if they have gone

Clives - Check the fuse inside of the box.
If the fuse is OKAY - put a volt meter on the red and black wires to the spindle motor. Measure anything higher than 5Volts as OKAY.
You should be seeing 10-24V on those wires. If not - your board / power supply is junk.
