Question Any recommendations for a power supply for their 3 axis board?

I just ordered the 3 axis driver board and 3 stepper motors and i was wondering if anyone could recommend a 24v power supply and instructions on how to hook it up?

Like ger21 said, look through his list, I would go for the most powerful one you can afford, that way it should do you if you ever upgrade your system too. As for hooking it up, there are simply two connectors on the board, one for neg and one for pos. Check the manual.

I haven't gotten the board yet. It is on its way in the mail.

The manual is here, check page 7 for the diagram, bottom left, "J9" is where the power supply connects to. It will pay to fully read and understand the manual before you touch the board, as there are instructions for setting it up for your specific motors. Good luck!

It would be ok if you can get one powerful enough. 24v @ 8Amps would be ok. If I remember rightly, when I had the board hooked up, my psu was 24v @ 11Amps.

If the max for the board is 2.5 Amp per axis, at 3 axis (axes?) for the board, that's 7.5 Amps. Obviously you have been recommended 6.5 Amps because I'm guessing your motors are around 2 Amps each. It's good (in my opinion) to get the biggest (highest amperage) psu you can, as you will not have to buy a new one if you decide to go for bigger motors and/or board.
