hi all i'm new to this forum, i have a chinese 40w laser engraver upgraded with dsp.
well, i've tryed to mark metal using laser printer toner powder... well it works.
it is very difficult to make a layer of thin powder but i say again it works very well. i know it is very dangerous that powder.
if you have any ideas about how to mix powder with something for making the layer simpler...

Plaster of paris , painted thinly on stainless will allow you to mark it black,
