Today I cut and welded the frame for my CNC router. I will Post pictures of the process in the next few days. Looking at the picture one can see that my gantry is 36"long. It will be built from mostly aluminum. I will attach a router to it when finished. My question is , Can I use a single 1/2 inch lead screw mounted in the center of the frame to move the Gantry along the x axis? You will need to open the thumbnail picture then maximize it to see the deminsions.
