    Servo Amp Faults

I'm using an Advanced Motion Controls PWM servo amp on my Hardinge CHNC lathe.

I'm having trouble with a drive fault on the Z axis. At first, I just lowered my acceleration and max velocity. Problem is getting worse.

Can anyone explain what the drive sences to light the drive fault light? And, likely problems to look for.

    Manual attached.

Try swapping the module to the other axis and see if the problem moves too.
There are plenty of those on ebay. Could be the motor brushes or tach also.
