Whoops, dont trust a leaky valve

So, since I got my vm16 a few months ago the valve stacks have leaked horribly. I intended to order a new set for the spindle stop and tool release. Well, maybe I should have ordered it sooner than later. With the spindle running 4400rpm the valve decided the spindle needed stopped. The spindle motor disagreed inciting a shower of sparks as the 608 bearing exploded before I was able to stop the spindle. The spindle and its detent seem to be ok, but the spindle stop cylinder, yolk and bearing will all need replaced.

The 608 bearing will be easy, the robot components I make use them.

The yolk can be manufactured on one of my manual machines.

I tried calling Bob to consult on price of new parts, but I must have been a bit late, and I wasn't too worried about making it a rush call as I wont be able to order parts for a week or so.

I live in western South Dakota, so your doing better than I am, lol. But I tend to define civilization as somewhere I have decent cell coverage because if I dont have coverage I must be in the middle of nowhere.

Got parts ordered from Bob on Friday morning. They of course arrived in a timely manner. The orient cylinder kit he sent me was nice, and cheaper than I could have sorted for myself by a decent amount. The valve kit he sent is utterly above and beyond what I expected for the price. I will get them installed in the coming days and be back up and running. Thanks Bob, you are awesome.
