I machined some 1/4" cf plate recently for a radio control helicopter I am building. My setup is Dremel Advantage mounted to the quill of a Bridgeport CNC. My skill level is hobbyist and speed wasn't as big a factor as quality. With a 1/16" carbide burr spinning 30K RPM I cut full depth at 10 IPM. I had an air blast nozzle (no liquid) and manually held a shopvac nozzle to help suck the dust.
