Hello,

I am so sorry in advance if this post is in the wrong thread!

I am having trouble getting the spindle of my Laguna Creator CNC to start up. I have already made a ticket with them, but I know they take up to weeks to respond. Thought it doesn't hurt to make a post here to see if anyone can shed some light to this issue.

The machine has never went through this problem before and has always ran great up until this point. The VFD currently just displays "Stop".. It is an MS300 from Delta. The reset button on the VFD does not do anything. Is there anyway I can force reset it? I have already bled my eyes trying to find the answer in the VFD manual, but with my untrained observation, I don't think I am even capable of finding the answer there.

Any help at this point is greatly appreciated!

If the spindle on your Laguna Creator CNC (paired with a Delta MS300 VFD) won’t start and the VFD screen displays "Stop," try these quick troubleshooting steps:
Power cycle the VFD and CNC.
Check the emergency stop button and limit switches for activation.
Test the VFD manually (disconnect CNC control wires and attempt to start the spindle directly from the VFD keypad to rule out signal issues).
Look for hidden error codes on the VFD (e.g., E.OC for overcurrent or E.UV for undervoltage).
Inspect spindle cables and power connections for damage or loose wiring.
If the issue persists, the problem may be incorrect VFD parameters (try a factory reset) or hardware failure (e.g., blown fuse). In such cases, contact Laguna support or a professional technician for further diagnosis.
