Post NCStudio dosn't Load on Windows 10 Machines

    Context,

The current system used to run NCStudio (the CNC program for a LaserCutter) is on an old windows 7 machine, which is being held together by hopes and dreams.

We have since tried moving NCStudio Version: 15.016.89 onto a Windows 10 IoT Enterprise machine as it was best option we had. However, after installation of NCStudio on the PC and running the application, it blue screens the PC.
    Things we have tried:
    - Disabeling the Weihong CNC Adaptor does let us open the program in sumulation mode, however when we enable it and try again it crashes the PC.
    - Instaling the CNC Adaptor Drivers while the card is inserted still results in a blue screen.
    - The Maxphotonics software can connect to the LaserCutter no problem via IP, 192.168.0.178. I believe this dosn't has no correlation to the issue but worth mentioning.
    - We can get NCEditor to run on the Windows 10 Machine, however it is having issues connecting to the CNC machine itself. The error displayed is: E001: Axis Positive/Negative.
    - Backing up/exporting the NCStudio files from the Windows 7 Machine to the Windows 10 machine, installing it, however it still crashes the PC.

This is all i can remember from the top of my head.
My guess is that the software and version of NCStudio cannot be run on windows 10+ computers, however any extra troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated!

Re: NCStudio dosn't Load on Windows 10 Machines

NCStudio 15.016.89 is likely incompatible with Windows 10, especially its Weihong control card driver will cause a blue screen when loading, indicating that there is an underlying driver conflict. You can currently open the simulation mode but cannot enable the actual control card, which basically confirms the driver problem. It is recommended to try to install a new version of NCStudio (such as v21 or later), which usually supports Windows 10 and comes with compatible drivers; you can also try to run the program in compatible mode and administrator privileges, and disable driver signature enforcement. If this cannot be resolved, keeping the original Windows 7 machine and isolating it for network use is also a feasible temporary solution. The final solution is still recommended to upgrade the software or replace a compatible control system.
