Do you have a fast DSL? Help!

    Hi,

I have tried numerous times to download user manual and configurator program for a Yaskawa SGDB20AMA. But the transfer always gets broken after about 2Mbyte. My DSL is sick, so that takes about 2 minutes.

If you have a fast (DSL) line please try this to see if the problem is with my end or the other.

Go to: ftp.yaskawa.de/Public/PDF_Technical_Documentation/Motion&Control/SigmaI_Series/SGDB then try to download English_User_Manual_SGDB(TSE-S800-16D).zip
This is an appx. 11Mb file.

If you can get it, I have more problems than just low speed here. If not, I'll try to contact yaskawa.de and ask them for advice.

    Thanks

I was able to download the file but after it completed Winzip said it was not a valid archive. I will try again.

    Cheers

I tried three times but I have had no luck in downloading a valid file. I tried both English manuals and both are flagged by Winzip as an invalid archive. I opened the zip using Word and I do see a valid PDF header but unfortunately it just seems the ZIP file is broken.

    Cheers

    Greg

    Thanks guys.

I'll try to contact Yaskawa.de and ask them. Since there are 3 different persons at different continents that have problems, I assume the problem is at their site.

That's one way of increasing post counts.
