I spent monday and tuesday at the Fabtec show in Las Vegas and saw the whole Dynatorch crew at the show. Leon demonstrated the new Dynascribe marking attachment and also a new initial pierce height control. It is a non contact method, not quite sure what makes it work. Leon placed his hand under the torch and started the machine, it sensed his hand and and stopped at the correct stand off for the initial pierce. I could see how this would work great for thin material that wants to flex when the torch touches off. He said that it is a new and exclusive patented technology of Dynatorch. Gary from WE-CIM was also there and said that there is a new free update coming out soon for us we cim users.
