    IGBT gate driver

    I have problem understanding how the gatedriver below works :drowning:

    Do I set ref to the voltage I want to retain on the output ?

    Input is only for turn on the gatedriver ?

    ref is for setting the logic levels for the input, i.e. if you intend to drive 'in' from a 3.3 volt mcu you would connect ref to 3.3V. Anything over ~50% of vref will be seen as high, anything below ~30% of vref as low

    Vdd drives the output

    langwadt: Ok I have get it totally wrong thank you for the input,

    how do I know what the fan3111 sends out then when the output is set to high ? :idea:
