    Mill Turning

I want to do some Mill Turning on a Taig as I need to do some turning but not enough to justify buying a lathe.

I need to buy a rotary table and chuck but do most CAM programmes support this? (I take it that Mach3 just processes G code so doesn't care.) The files are coming from AutoCAD.

    Cheers.

The cheapest solution I have found for CAM that supports a rotary 4th axis is Deskproto. It's around $1200 and can do 3D objects like a bust or a perfume bottle etc.

Cut 3D and Meshcam are more affordable but they dont do a rotary 4th axis, only top, bottom, left and right in 90 degree steps.
