I am trying to do some surface machining?
here is my question I am reading this book mastercam mill 3 and I am doing a glass shape but I am stuck when it tells me to select the quick mask lines and arcs icon.
where do I find it or how can I enable it so I can have the quick mask lines and arcs icon. on the screen.

On a standard install with no mods

It's on the Right hand margin under the listing of the last used commands

Another method is to use the filter mask,
--- select only pull-down on the upper taskbar ( just above the screen near center )
---and place a check on arcs ( if more selections required, hold Crtl key down to place extra checks..... you can also use the additional filters--color, level etc ) your mouse can only select entities that meet the mask critria. To cancel the setting, use the same pull-down and click the red circle with diagonal bar

If, at any stage your screen loses taskbars, right-click in an open area in the upper icon area and re-load a toolbar state ( play with it and familiarise yourself with how it works, you cannot stuff this up unless you save a toolbar state after customising )
