You may have a problem getting an exact replacement as Getty's no longer exists.
The options are repair to the existing one or sub a replacement from Baldor.
Another is to retrofit with a AC spindle from Mitsubishi etc.
The AC retrofit is often the same price as 3 phase DC replacement.
Obviously the Baldor or Mits replacement requires some degree of knowledge capable of integrating the new unit.

    Hi Al,

Thanks a lot for your feedback.
Can you advise a suitable part number / Type number of Baldor / Mits that can be used in place of this gettys unit?

    Best Regards

I do not have specific part numbers for your application and the Baldor part numbers I have are dated.
I would suggest contacting both Baldor and Mitsubishi for direct quote.
The older info I have for Baldor is the BC20H series.
The current Mitsubishi drives are SPA series with compatible motor supplied.
You need to know the actual line to line voltage.
The Mits will required both elecrical and mechanical changes, but if the motor is older or you anticipate motor problems down the road, the AC is the better way to go, especially if you are looking to keep the machine for some time.
