    SmoothStepper Backlash Comp

So I keep seeing references that there is no backlash comp available for the smoothstepper.......yet the warp9 site says they do have it and it works OK unless commanded moves are smaller than the set amount of backlash comp.

I bought one anyway, because I wanted to use USB.

Anybody with experience on this issue?

It didn't have it for a long time, but it does now. Does that answer your question?

I guess my real question () was if the offered backlash comp worked properly, or was fraught with problems. I have seen that it was available for months, but I see people saying there still isn't a working comp available and was just curious what isn't measuring up in the eyes of those that still say its unavailable.

Or are they just oblivious to its existence?
