    Software

    Hi People,
I am keen to do some design and profile development work. Just wondered what software is available on the net. I used to teach Aero Engineering and speacialised in CAD using Cadkey. I now find myself wshing I had never left that area as I have no access to cad and find it difficult to justify the expense for a hoby. Any guidance appreciated

if you use linux and are doing anything 2D qcad is awesome much faster and user friendly then autocad IMO. 37$ for the professional version really quality software, there's a free trial version as well. I believe there's also a windows version.
