I run My machine 6-8 hrs a day 5 days a week and every now and then
the spindle will fall to start.

I will hit cycle start and the coolant will come on Mach3 shows that the spindle is running and the machine starts it's moves.

I stop the machine and restart it from were it began and it starts and runs fine.

I may run 60-70 parts with 4 tool changes and it runs fine and then out of the blue it will act up again.

Has any one else had this happen?

Kinda sounds like my x limit switch

nothing it just reminds of my limit switch tripping for no apparent reason

Sometimes running Mach 3 on my router, the router will start, but just sit there. I have to hit stop, then rewind and it never fails on the second go. I just figured it may be something to do with the laptop I am using.
Kinda clueless, but not as bad as having it not start and then run the program.

Hi - See attachment info on spindle drive. I did the fine tune setting on page 6 and now my spindle is running reliabily.
