Well I,m about to put my manual mill together and am preparing to purchase a controller and dc motor. I have a mini mill spindle head and I,ll be milling iron,steel and aluminum. So what are some good economical dc motors that I could go with? What size? And for the controller what about getting one with reverse feature? And I see some controllers have a run(I know what that does) and a jog function which I don,t remember what that does? Any Ideas would be appreciated....

Jog makes the motor turn but only while you hold the button down.
