Spindle Stop Issue in MPG and JOG modes Fanuc OT

Have a 1995 Nakamura TMC15 with OT controls. Ive gone through a ton of stuff in the manuals about this. It even SAYS run a part manually, using the MPG, to face and OD a part, measure, adjust offset, etc. If I go to MDI and M03S500 itll start the spindle, but once I flip over to MPG or JOG it stops the spingle. All door interlocks are disabled, so its gotta be either in the ladder or a weird parameter. Driving me nuts having to face and OD using MDI all the time. Anyone?

why do not start the spindle with the jog button?
must be CCW nad CW and STOP buttons on panel and also a knob for increasing or decreasing the spindle speed.

these dont work at all, in any mode. not sure if theres a parameter lock somewhere, as i dont have a list of OEM parameters. Also the feedrate doesnt match, doing F10 moves like a rapid, but F.02 seems closer to F10 in reality. lots of things to figure out.

ok went back out ant messed with it more. looks like they DO work, just have to make sure that I hit RESET and clear any MDI info thats still saved in the system. If I go to MPG or JOG and hit CW or CCW now it starts up, and spindle speed knob works, 0-4000rpm now. Still have to figure out the feedrate issue at some point

It is how the ladder was written. You will need someone with the hardware and software to change the ladder so it will do as you need.

F10 will move like a rapid if your are in G99 mode (feed per rev)
change to G95 (mm per min) now you can use F10.

I have the same problem with a Fanuc iO Mate-TD. What parameters did you move?
