    SUPERMAX REBEL

I was looking at a machine with a fanuc om-d control machine has a 3/4 card connected to main board but only has 3 servo amps on large on which I thought was for the z axis and two smaller ones that must be for x,y . Sales man said its a 4 axis machine but I dont think so .Is it possible that one amp controls two axis / Thanks guys . Any opinion on supermax machines ?

Check the bottom of the amp for motor connections. 2 axis amp is common. Supermax is not a bad bang for your buck. I worked as a serviceman for them for a while, and there was nothing any different than the other Chinese machines. Check Korean brands before you pull the trigger.

i think is X,Y on a driver,Z is single because of the brake of motor and always you will find Z separate as drive(Z is gravitational all the time) and the last is for 4th axis.
you can check also if you look how much power cables are going out from a drive, usual on a single drive will be 3 phases and ground and on a double axis drive will be 8 cables
