Yes, i just used it 2 weeks ago for the 1st time to rough the orange arc. I had to tweak it a few times to get it right, but it worked well.

I got an email today from Surfcam, there are a few tweaks being made to the new version so they aren't releasing it just yet.

I think VERO SOFTWARE is starting with the left foot.
After such submission by trade fairs, ultimately delaying the release for those who are most interested, the customers.
Once again history repeats itself, versions made in haste without listening to customer feedback, and often without giving them information about the development.
Let's wait until the cows come home.

Vero on left foot, Good explicative.

I'm seeing a new picture of not listening to customer as of late. Most software company only get feedback from dealers, and if dealers don't report back to them, your
information or finds are for not. Also I have seen dealer ask for feedback's and get no or little reports back, but see user's on forums" why can't I do this "

Any software needs feedback to improve it's self, along with a dealer that care's and can teach user's how to use the tools they have.

Lack of training is a big problem, A company invests into software, but not into there workforce is not going forward. Just the same as investing $200,000 in a machine tool that no one can use to its full capabilities with out a cam system.

Never understood how removing a worker for two day of training was the end of the world for the workforce of the shop. We can't afford to have him/her out of the shop and the machine not running. But can come back and increase production 30% or 50% because we learned a new way to do our tasks.

We waste more time ( money ) fighting the system (cam) and complaining about it, that learning how to implement it.

Finally today I have a chance to test the new 2014 R1 version.
So the first thing was test new features. I start from Adaptive Rough, bad choice .

In attach is a file that I use to test. A sample of a cavity, using a Ø12.0R1.0 tool.
And as you can see from the pictures below, I got an error.
This error was caused when I try to change the Rouging Stepdown or Step Reduction, but the funny thing was the dialogue box that appear.
I change to 1, and the dialogue box indicates that I need to change values from 1 to 4, but the error don't disappear.

set minimum stepdown to a lower number helps.
    Also is said Between.

There is on your desktop a file call Surfcam Sample 64. It allows you review all actions and change them in demo and review them in toolpath Verification mode. A helpful tool to learn new feature's

Ok, you are right, but the error message wouldn't be other?
The message could say where is the error.
This happens in prior versions, sometimes in Z Rouging, appear a dialogue box saying "computation error" but we don't know where it is.
