New to swiss machining. Does anyone know if there is a calculator for bar waste and parts per bar that is readily available online? I am using partmaker swiss cam but I do not se any inputs for bar stock length etc.

Depends on Machines. All of ours are laid out different so each machine has different rem lengths. What machines and barloaders do you have? There are a lot of variables that need to be addressed. Cutoff widths, face off values, part length, and so on. We use a general format for each of our machines.
