I haven't posted anything for awhile. Here's a look at 2 Heresy acoustics I finished recently.
First, the Heresy 1:
Maple front, walnut back, 24.75" scale length
I intentionally made the front sound hole "ridiculously small", just to see how it would affect the sound.
I kind of like the way it looks, but I think it's holding back some of the highs.
Neck: Maple center, flanked by mahogany. Pau ferro headstock.
A look at the inside integral bracing.
A look at the back. (The bright spot is the paper label.)
And here's a look at the slightly larger Heresy 2:
Hard maple front, mahogany back.
25.5" scale length.
The rosette and bridge are made of East Indian rosewood.
If you want to get an idea of how they sound, please check out this YouTube video:
Overall, I'm pretty pleased. I think there's still room for improving the sound, and I plan to address that on the upcoming build.
