    Hello!
    Can anyone help me?
I’m new in the field of thread milling. I have to cut M25x1 right. With a cutter with a cutting plate, for this lead. It was said, I should do it in synchronism and from the bottom up.
But the cutter moves to the bottom, then 2mm up, to the middle and then out.
I’ve heard something about parameter bit 2. But I don’t know now I can change it.
    Help!

    Hello!

    Do you use cycle 262?
Then it’s a normal flow because there’re HM thread cutters with full thread depth that need only one rotation. But you have to input 1 instead of 0 in acceptance value. Then it’ll move to the top.

    Regards, mile

    Hello again!

I checked it up in the manual.
Use cycle 262, in “run number” Q355, 1 instead of 0.

    Good luck!
