I just saw this article tonight while researching another issue and thought that the author presented quite a few solid nuggets of information. I only wish that I would have been a more observant MMS reader 7 years ago when I fried a lot of tooling learning how to machine this material effectively. At any rate, I see people asking questions about machining various grades of Ti and I thought that I would share this for their benefit. As most know there is more to being successful in this game than just spending gobs of money on tooling, equipment and calculating appropriate speeds and feeds :-). May your tooling live long and prosper.....Doug P.
