    Tool Tables

I am new to CNC and am using the Mach2 on an Industrial Hobbies Machine.
Can anyone tell me if what I am doing is right or not? I have set up 2 cutting tools and have one vise set up in the tool and fixture tables. Will the program automatically pick up on the height of the vise in relation to the tools or do I have to do something that I am missing? I have the vise under G54.

    Thanks In Advance
    Mike

I believe you need to use a G43 to use the length offset. I don't know the exact syntax required, though. Check the manual.

say if your running tool 1 , youwill need g43 h1 and a z value , if you do not use this in between tools , your machine will pick up the tool values from the last tool , if this happens hope you next tool is shorter than the last , cause your gonna crash
you need to start with a safety line the the rest follows , you don t need the safety line necessarily for every tool , but it is safe practice to have it at the top of the program
    eg:
    g0 g40 g17 g80 g49:
    g0 g90 g54 x 0 y 0 s4000 m3 :
    g43 h1 z1.
