has anyone tried cutting expanded metal witht their plasma table? did it work? also can anyone recomend a good kinear rail and bearing for my table. its 4x8 torchmate one. i have built the table and gantry out of 80/20 so some thing that would works easy with that would be helpful.

I haven't cut expanded metal....yet....but have given it some thought.

Do you have autoheight on your Z? If you do run it in manual mode (pierce height) so the head doesn't dive into the holes. You could also set your head height so it can't get below the surface.
