    tracing images in X3

Is there a way of tracing an image in X3, for example to machine a company logo into a part. Maybe something taken off a letter head or website etc.

Mastercam has included a c-hook called rast2vec.dll for a long time but it was something that had to be paid for... I can't recall for sure but I think I heard that it was now available for free with the recent releases...

If that doesn't work there are some free converters available... Search out win topo freeware to start with...

Basically these will allow you to open an image file then convert it to something usable in MC...

    Have fun

Give me a shout sometime... I specialize in re-drawing logos and sketches into vector. All my files are compatible with Mastercam as I work with it as well...
