Hello,

Is there a reason why when I fillet between a circle to a line, that sometimes I get the correct result but other times the the circle gets trimmed. I know that there is an icon to "No trim," however that means I need to do extra steps to trim the extra lines.

Well, the first thing you need to understand is, in most cad programs, a circle actually has two end points.
One at 0 degrees and one at 360 degrees.
Even though they are supposed to be the same point, it is the way that most cad programs actually draw circles.
The result you end up with depends on which side of the circle's endpoint you are selecting.

I think I might have found a solution.

Where ever the curves,lines interesect you will have to break it at the intersection.

For example create a 10 inch diameter circle. Then create a vertical line through the circle and extened it let say 5 inch pass the bottom of the circle. If I go to Create - fillet and try to create a fillet from the circle to the line, the other side of the circle dissappears.

If I break the geometry at the intersection of the circle and the vertical line and then create the fillet, the other side of the circle does not dissappear.

I do not know why I have to do this.
