I am using a Diacam CNC router controlled by Mach3, and am creating .nc files using Ucancam v10.
Last week I opened Ucancam and it threw up an error message. Unfortunately I did not record what the error message said and the software working canvas/art-board was just black. I solved this by going into system settings and resetting to defaults. I didn't think that this would mess with anything too important as the settings in that window didn't seem all that crucial.
Now when I export an NC file out and run it in Mach3, the CNC output is nowhere near the correct size. I have spent the better part of a day trying to find out how I can fix this issue, but Ucancam has no documentation that helps. I am assuming that potentially the initial issue was a config file corruption, and that I need to re-calibrate Ucancam to output files of the correct scale for my CNC, but I have no clue as to how to go about this.
I am a complete newbie at using CNCs and such, and I have pretty much taught myself on this current set up at my job. No one else knows anything as the machine was purchased 2nd hand a few years before I started and already calibrated/configured. I'm unable to find any documentation on the CNC itself, either, but not sure that would provide much use anyway, as it seems the issue is with Ucancam itself.
Any help would be hugely appreciated. If I need to provide any more details I would be happy to do so.
