5 years ago we bought a Forsun CNC.
The vacuum is generated via twin 3000w 18amp liquid ring pumps.
The steel tank is now rusting badly.
One motor has failed due to seizure. Possible from metal flakes in the water.
What tanks do you use.
Polythene? Or painted / galvanized steel ?

As it’s time to rip it all apart I need to change the tank.
Any suggestions please.
I’m leaning g towards a polyethylene cube.

Pressure vessels tend to be cylindrical and for good reason but if your tank is just a liquid container to replenish the system,plastic may be a durable answer.You don't seem to have a huge amount of power for the pumps,do they work adequately?
