    vfd wiring

    Hey ! I just bought a VFD (huanyang) with a matching spindle of 1.5 kW and wonder how I plug in the spindle to the interface DB 25, or do I need a relay in between?would be grateful if someone could draw an example (with kind regards a rookie cnc):drowning::drowning

    The VFD connects directly to the spindle for AC power. The DB25 connector is the standard Mach3/4 interface to the parallel port in a computer running the CNBC software. There is a software plugin to control the VFD over a modbus interface. This is a rs485 interface with two wires and requires you to use a USB to rs485 converter which is about $15 usd
