Vickers A2100 mohterboard swap help needed

Right after a block wide power brownout we had a motherboard fail in Vickers A2100 control on an Arrow 1000. The machine was built in '96 if that helps.

I found a good used / tested one from a salvage and bought it. We installed it and it now powers up where it would not before.

I assumed we would have some issues possibly pertaining to BIOS or serial numbers and we do.

Where do I update the serial number? It's on the stickers on the aluminum frame and I don't know where to put it.

    Thanks for your help!

Which Motherboard failed, the WS or RT? In either case, you would not have issues with your serial number as it is embedded on a chip in the A2100 control itself. Unless you changed out the entire silver control box, the serial number of your control would not have been affected.

If you removed the bridge board in the process of troubleshooting and didn't re-install it properly, it is possible that the chip is not seated properly, which would give you a serial number error.

If you send me a PM I will try to help you out further.
