    VMC manuals 1997 era

I have a '97 VMC 15. The manuals I obtained are from Dec. 1995. The '95 manual doesn't show the Baldor spindle drive that I have. I've looked at some of the manuals online that some of the dealers have posted. Are there year groups of Fadals where certain manuals represent the machines the best. (i.e. can I get access to a manual that is more relevant to my machine or serial number?)

Other examples: the hi/low in my machine doesn't have any cylinders. I assume it is controlled by another set of windings in the motor?? I can't see anything mechanical that changes ranges. If I go from 2500 to 3500rpm (cutting air) the spindle will slow down/stop and then speed up to 3500.

    Thanks,

    Tim

The manuals on the Fadal Website www.fadal.com are available for download. They are generic manual and cover all machines. There may be some functions in the manuals that you do not have due to older software versions or options that you do not have installed.
